Pedro Sánchez acude a ver "El 47" en apoyo al cine español

La visita se enmarca en la agenda cultural del mandatario, que en alguna ocasión ha mostrado su apoyo al cine español.

Acompañado por su esposa, Begoña Gómez, Pedro Sánchez disfrutó de la proyección en una sesión vespertina, sin mayor acto oficial. La película, que ha despertado gran interés en los círculos cinematográficos, ha recibido elogios por la interpretación de Fernández, considerado uno de los actores más versátiles del panorama nacional. ""La dignidad no es algo abstracto. La dignidad es la lucha por el agua, la lucha por la luz, la lucha por Correos, la lucha por la sanidad y la educación públicas. Eso es la dignidad", ha declarado el presidente. "Salgo emocionado de ver ‘El 47’, un homenaje maravilloso a la España plural y trabajadora que construyeron nuestros padres, madres, abuelos y abuelas".

La película El 47 ha sido dirigida por Marcel Barrena, y está protagonizada por Eduard Fernández, y Clara Segura,  Se desarrolla en 1978. Es la historia real dl autobusero Manolo Vital  extremeño que vive con su mujer y su hija en una casa de Torre Baró, un barrio suburbial de Barcelona situado en la ladera de una montaña. La situación es precaria, porque apenas llega el agua, los cortes de luz son habituales, los caminos no están asfaltados y no tienen transporte público. Manuel, que llegó de extremadura en la posguerra y construyó con sus manos aquellas casas pobres junto con un puñado de inmigrantes, sigue luchando muchos años después para lograr las mejores condiciones para su comunidad, y tratará de que el autobús llegue a la zona.

El gesto de Pedro Sánchez ha sido bien recibido por la comunidad cinematográfica, que valora el respaldo del Gobierno al sector cultural en un momento crucial tras los efectos de la pandemia en la industria.

In a highly competitive situation, Apple has landed rights to develop Off Season, a spec from Holland, Michigan‘s Andrew Sodroski, which Academy Award nominee Vanessa Kirby (Napoleon) will star in and produce through her Aluna Entertainment, according to our sources. While specifics as to the film’s plot haven’t been disclosed, it’s described as a femme fatale thriller set in a luxury resort on Mexico’s Mayan Riviera. 42 developed the script, with Peter Dealbert and Ben Pugh to produce for the company, alongside Kirby and Lauren Dark for Aluna Entertainment. No director is yet attached to the project.
